The votes are in, so let the pant hooting begin!
After tallying more than 27,000 public votes, The Humane
Society of the United States is pleased to announce the winners of our
Chimpanzee Art Contest.
Receiving the most public votes was artwork by Brent from
Chimp Haven! Second place goes to artwork by Cheetah from Save the Chimps! In
third place is artwork by Ripley from Center for Great Apes! For the judged
prize, Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN
Messenger of Peace, selected Cheetah’s artwork! Prizes are in the form of
grants to the sanctuaries.
