GMO Answers is a new website launched by The Council for
Biotechnology Information, which includes BASF, Bayer CropScience, Dow
AgroSciences, DuPont, Monsanto and Syngenta. The new initiative is aimed at
answering questions from the public about GMOs and how food is produced.
The website offers a place for conversations, public
Q&A, and central online resource for information on GMOs, their background,
use in agriculture, and research and data in one easy-to-access public resource
for the first time.
