Astronomers observe mysterious radio-burst from far beyond
our galaxy
Astronomers have discovered a radio burst of only a few
seconds duration using the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. The findings
by an international team of astronomers led by Laura Spitler from the Max
Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn provide important new evidence of
the mysterious pulses that appear to come from deep in outer space.
