Panasonic Won 19 iF Product Design Awards
Panasonic will receive a total of 19 iF product design
awards
at the 2014 event hosted by iF International Forum Design in Hannover.
A
fully automatic espresso machine, a LED light fixture, a liquid crystal TV,
a
digital single lens mirrorless camera and a solar LED lantern are among the
winning products.
This year, 4615 products were entered from 55 countries
and
they were assessed by 49 jurors on the basis of clear criteria.
Panasonic's
designs were highly regarded.
Winning products will be presented at the iF
design exhibition in Hamburg from March 2014.
Panasonic to Showcase World's First DSLM Capable of 4K Video
Recording at CP+ 2014
Panasonic will unveil the world's first(*1) digital single
lens mirrorless (DSLM) camera
capable of 4K video recording as part of its
exhibit of the latest technology
and products related to digital cameras at CP+
2014,
an expo for camera
and photo imaging to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from
February 13 to 16, 2014.
Under the theme of "LUMIX - A New Stage of the DSLM,"
Panasonic will use demonstrations, presentations, displays of example
photography
and hands-on test shooting with actual models to showcase Hybrid
Photography
that realizes a fusion of the highest quality of still photography
and video,
and the world of Street Photography that pursues higher definition,
richer texture and greater mobility.
Panasonic to Commence Joint Research with Digital Hollywood
University in Digital Imaging
Panasonic Corporation will commence joint research with
Digital Hollywood University in Tokyo
toward the development of new forms of
video expression that utilize 4K technology,
and digital imaging equipment such
as digital single lens mirrorless (DSLM) cameras
compatible with 4K video.
This spring Panasonic will commence worldwide release of the
LUMIX GH4(*1),
the world's first(*2) DSLM camera compatible with 4K.
