RK Motors Collector Car Auctions (RKMCCA) will offer
collector-car enthusiasts the first-ever opportunity to bid on James Hunt’s
iconic ’77 McLaren M26 (Lot #3032). The legendary racecar will be in the
spotlight at the RKMCCA auction at the Charlotte Convention Center, October
31–November 3. Steeped in Formula 1 history, this McLaren earned Hunt’s last-ever
Formula 1 win at the Japanese Grand Prix in ’77. Hunt will be featured in the
Ron Howard film "Rush," which chronicles the ultra-competitive
relationship between Hunt and Niki Lauda during the tumultuous ’76 Formula 1
season.
