Electric Mobility: RheinMobil Project Yields First Trends for Economic Efficiency, Operation, and Ecological Benefit

1.97 t of CO2 less, excellently suited for commuting traffic, quick charging as a prerequisite of economic efficiency: These are the first results of the RheinMobil electric mobility project after 23,710 km. Today, these results and other trends were presented by the project partners Michelin, Siemens, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI. Based on business and commuter trips, the RheinMobil project aims at demonstrating that certain use profiles allow for an economically efficient operation of electric vehicles.
