Telefonica has launched the first smartphones running the
Firefox OS from Mozilla in Venezuela. Telefonica also provides Firefox OS smartphones
in Spain and Colombia, and plans to make them available in Brazil in the fourth
quarter. Movistar offers the Alcatel One Touch Fire in Venezuela for VEF 1,739,
and the ZTE Open for VEF 1,159, both in combination with a tariff plan
available for VEF 165 per month.
