* Bold off-road
design combined with low consumption at attractive prices
* Premiere at
Brussels International Motor Show (January 16th to 26th)
The new Opel Insignia Country Tourer, the model family’s adventurer
with bold, dynamic design and top driving performance, is now also available
with front-wheel drive. The robust mid-size station wagon can be teamed with
the new-generation 125 kW/170 hp 1.6 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo engine or
with the 2-liter turbo diesel with 120 kW/163 hp. So Insignia fans who prefer
characteristic off-road styling with under-body guards, prominent wheel-arch
and lower body cladding together with dual exhaust tailpipes (with the 1.6
ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo) but don’t necessarily need the 4x4 drive can
choose front-wheel drive, thus lowering fuel consumption and CO2 emissions
compared to the all-wheel drive version. Customers also benefit from an
especially attractive entry-level price of 34,100 euros for the Insignia Country
Tourer in Belgium – around 3,000 euros less than with the 4x4 system.
